These Minneapolis musicians are also a part of the project Overtone Orchestra, as well as their own solo ventures.

Their 12-track album ... [read more]

One of our favorite artists from Citadel Records, Pavel Tukki!

Inspired by Brian Eno and Talk Talk, Pavel Tukki began exploring ambient music and its addition to jazz in 1995. His work culminated with the 2007 album "Nega," meaning 'bliss' and a naked state of the soul. This solo project, resulting from his "search for silence," is a minimalist combination of jazz and ambient music.

Take a look(or a listen) at this beautiful album from ... [read more]

I am not very original - during the New Year holidays I contemplate, feel sentimental, angry, happy and proud - sometimes all at once.

Personally, my 2009 was productive, hard, extremely painful, and ended incredibly well. For Kroogi it was somewhat similar, but without the extreme ups and downs.

What about ... [read more]
