In April, Snegiri released Petrov's new album, "Lady and Death."

The fate of each - the album, and Petrov seems amazing, more akin to a movie script.

Petrov's critics call this music "desperate, full of endless longing, fatal, hopeless," and nonetheless "haunting, charismatic, fundamentally imperfect and incomplete, making it especially beautiful."

It would be too taxing on the lexicon to add more. Just have a listen.

" I don't go around gloomy all day, complaining about how bad everything is," remarks Petrov -" It's just that this kind of music comes to me. I cannot even say that i am the author of these songs. Usually it happens - BAM! Something comes into my head, a channel turns on, the entire melody just comes through - along with an approximate content as to what the song should be about. I just toss in a little rhythm, dub, and even it out. I'm like a re-producer. It seems to me that all music, that exists in the world, was written by someone long before us - and everyone, if they wish, can connect to that channel and become a songwriter."

"Magellanic Cloud" released their second full-length album today.
It includes both new tracks (woohoo!) and singles that are already out on Kroogi.
Conveying their intent through the album's title, "Shuffle," the musicians emphasize that the songs can and should be listened to in a random order.
Take note; the Shuffle button on your respective music player is the correct way to begin listening to the album.
This is a unique way for the music creators to show us on which side of the "is a music album a single coherent unit?" debate they stand.
We are very pleased to release "Shuffle," - an album, which is from our point of view, a music work compiled in the most conceptual way possible.

Music group "Zorge" invites you on a grand musical and virtual journey.
We will venture into the strange and diverse world of the multi-series audio-film "Mongoloid."
Over the course of an entire year, we will watch, participate, and even weave the fabric of Mongoloid's mysterious world.

Zorge explains how amazing this world is in its mysteries and adventures. Mongoloid's heroes make their way on dusty roads to the Zorge's songs. They expect immense feats, unpredictable twists of fate, dangers, and treasures. At times, nothing may happen, or everything will happen all at once. What awaits at the end of this journey?

The beginning has already been made, with characters on their path. Now is the time to join in and learn the course of this secretive story.
Find answers to metaphysical inquisitions: What rules the world? Which path- is the right path? What will be at the end of the road? Is there even an end?

Look for answers to the biggest questions along with the heroes of "Mongoloid."
Each of you can support the story by writing your name into its Big History.

As you may have noticed, we've changed our methods for adding material, as well as for creating and editing folders. We have put a lot of thought into these changes, in pursuit of several goals-

• Make it easier and simpler;


• Make folders, music albums, and folders-for-download similar, equally as customizable, and transition easily into one other (by the way, we've rejected the idea of special folders-for-download, and now any folder, or music album can contain downloadable files, but more on that below);


• Reduce the amount of necessary clicks and transitions you have to make from page to page, in the process of creating and editing folders/music albums...

We think we've got the whole usability thing down.

Adding Content & Editing Folders

When you click the "Add Content" Button in the upper right-hand corner of your account, you are first prompted to choose a location for your materials - either create a new folder, or select an existing one. Once your materials have been added, you will land on the Edit Page for the folder you selected. That is, you no longer need to click the edit folder option so as to make changes - You're already there!

On the First Editing Tab - Folder or Music Album -You can enter folder names and descriptions in two languages, add tags, and if necessary, you can also change the folder location here. For example, if you've accidentally added a music album to your personal account, rather than having added it to your group's Project, you do not need to delete the entire album and re-upload it again - you can simply change its location using the First Tab in Editing. You can also decide what your folder will be - just a folder or a music album. If, having previously uploaded a track into a folder, you did not have the opportunity to make it into a music album, you will now have the ability to do so at any time, absent any problems.

On the Second Editing Tab - Content - You will find your already-added content - here you can drag items into your preferred order, remove excess (or unwanted or accidentally added) content material, as well as add more content material. This did not exist previously, and should you have discovered that you forgot to add something, you would have had to exit the editing process and add your omissions separately.

You can also determine which image in any given folder will serve as its cover, or if you prefer, the folder cover can change at every page refresh - simply select the "Display random cover art image" option. This is useful in photo albums, when it is unfavorable to "enhance" the value of a single image by selecting it as a cover, to the detriment of the others - or when it is difficult to determine which image best conveys the mood of an entire folder.
Another change regarding images - if your music album has a booklet/album art, you can now upload all of the booklet images directly into the music album that contains mp3 files, rather than (as before) create a separate folder for the album art.

An innovation in adding content - downloadable files. Although we previously had this option, it was practically hidden on the page, and we doubt that many people knew about it. Now you can add downloadable files by clicking the Add button as well as in the right column of the Materials tab in folder editing. Downloadable files are - .pdf, .zip, hi-res images, etc. Now you can add material for familiarization and material in a higher-quality format for download into the same folder (or music album). For example, you can add .mp3 files into one music album and .flac separately, or images and their high-resolution copies, or a piece of text and its full .pdf.

Once you are done with the Content tab, and have a connected monetary system, you get to the third tab - Downloads and Contributions - wherein you are invited to create a zip file for download (within which you can include images, tracks, and descriptions of the folder/music album). Note that if you upload downloadable files, then you have the ability to set a different price on the downloadable files generated by the system, as well as for the downloadable files uploaded by you. For example, in your music album you can set a recommended price for .mp3 downloads, and a minimum price for .flac files of the same album; or for high-resolution images, uploaded as downloadable files, you can set different prices that are dependent on size (in the case of images - do not forget to make sure that you have uploaded them as regular images for viewing and that the names of the regular images match those of the high-res images).

Changes in Folio

All of the changes to folders and music albums has resulted in changes to Folio - it is now possible to add any folder to Folio, as well as to choose what form to display it in - whether as a photo album, player, or a folder with its cover, description, and download button (if there is one). This gives you the opportunity to appropriate your materials in Folio exactly as you want. For example, if your folder - is actually a book (meaning it contains a .pdf for download, cover-image, and piece of text), then it is likely better to show the folder as a folder, just make sure you add a good description to it... And If your folder is a music album booklet, it is perhaps better to show it as a player, rather than as a photo album. By the way, if your folder contains multiple music albums, then you can present it in Folio as a photo album consisting of the covers of all the albums, and by clicking on the cover of any one album, your listener will be taken directly to the album's page.

We've tried... Don't you think? Maybe we have not thought out all of the little things, noted all errors, or overlooked something in testing our changes. Be sure to write us about any suggestions or issues you may have - we will work on them.

-A talented artist and animator to create an animated video for the song "My Star."
Vyacheslav seeks not only an artist, but a like-minded individual, with whom to collaborate on a mutually favored creative idea. Be advised, Vyacheslav himself draws wonderfully and has wanted to make an animated film for quite a long time.
"We are not setting any kind of creative parameters for this clip, other than that it must be animated. The project does not have any specific dates, everything will take its course naturally, everything will have its time. It would be great if an intelligent and capable person responded, though most importantly, one with desire. I will be happy to participate in the creation of the clip and collaborate with such a person," comments Vyacheslav.
The planned clip should be a version of the song "My Star" from the concert album 10-PITER.

Quite a lot can be ogled & googled about Kate Gordon.

Her progression as a creative entity seems surprising. From scandalous journalism, to indie-rock, to (at-a-glance) the expression of authentic emotions. If the namesake of the new album is added to the vector of this progression, the sum result is an even more vivid and amazing picture.

Kate says "Tired of Being Afraid" is the first work wherein she can personally subscribe (and attest) to each note.

We sincerely wish her success on the new album.

What do we know about ADO?
They are a cult rock-band that emerged in a country which no longer exists. People fell in love, grew up, grew apart from their old lives and began all over again, to the sound of their music. ADO began at a time when playing music or even talking about it was rare; when it was somewhere on the verge of being barely permitted.

At first, the group was only able to record a few songs in their home studio (the album "Night Soup," 1988-89), but soon the success of those songs (in particular "Passenger" and "I Would Like to Die In My Sleep") would allow them to begin playing concerts.

An interesting fact about the album "Night Soup" : Andrew Gorokhov, ADO's fearless leader, entered this song in the "Aurora" magazine competition in Leningrad (which is supervised by A. Zhinitski and B. Grebenshchikov). In a positive result, the group won a "Diploma of the 2nd Degree" and attracted the attention of Grebenshchikov.
In the early 90s (and in a professional setting) the band recorded several acoustic albums. The most famous of these albums (as well as their first official release) was "Stop Me, Night" which was released in December of 1991 by the label "Melody." After that, ADO released their first "drum" albums - "Behave Yourself" and "Alphabet." It is on these albums that the group recorded their greatest hits, "When You're Alone" and "Behave Yourself." In the late 90s, with Andrew Gorokhov having gone abroad, the band sporadically recorded and performed in Russia. It was only in the Spring of 2007 that the group released an album with new songs, "Ursus."

Today, ADO continue to surprise, delight, and touch the hearts of their fans. Despite various band-member changes, their style has remained true to form - always a charming melody, vivid personal lyrics, and beautifully honed song arrangements.
The musicians give concerts frequently and are preparing a new record.
