Work on this material lasted over 5 years; during which time the group's country had changed, life had changed, music changed, and the band celebrated its 25th anniversary. The new record is, as always, of the highest quality recording and performance, and begins the collective's next 25 years with a great, new chapter.
As the next step forward for the group (which never stands still), this album is different - a marvel combination of original musical ideas and vocals, but most importantly - a different mood. Unlike the group's previous work or anything in rock music today, this is not about appealing to trends, nor is it flashy, nor is it an attempt to capture the latest fad. 12 songs express the thoughts of many people with simple and comprehensible words; words free from compromise, embellishment, or disguise. Honest songs about themselves, about life and people; songs, sounding from the same breath; songs, forcing us to open our eyes. This is the optimistic cry of despair, this is "Dead Season."

The new, controversially titled mini-album, "Shitrock," by famous Moscow rock-band "Orgy of the Righteous," launches online February 5th - much to the joy of fans!
For 12 years these musicians have amazed us with a unique style that brilliantly combines acoustic and electric sounds with cross-cultural motifs and progressive rock. With no meager amount of released albums, singles, "Orgy of the Righteous" is backed by a history of countless concerts and festivals in Russia and the CIS. Every song is not only a step in the developmental exploration of classical music culture, but a fusion with what is contemporary and relevant today.
The mini-album heralds four new songs that represent the group's views on; current events in Russia, each and every one of our daily lives, music culture, and society as a whole. Two of the four songs will be included on the band's full-length album, "For Those, Who Have Dreams. Vol. 2," due to be released in the fall.

It's difficult to tie the new release from Jury Oschepkov, "MOT," to a particular music style. It's got a little bit of blues, a few pinches of rock, alternative, and folk music, and even a slight hint of waltz. The record's versatility makes perfect sense, considering Jury's unique, intricate take on music.

The story of the single’s title track "Ready" is a long and scandalous one. First introduced back in 2009, BARTO’s "Ready" quickly became a fan favorite. But after the Pushkin Square events of August 2010 and the sociopolitical unrest that ensued, the rebellious track forced the band members into the political arena. And as Russian police officials searched high and low for proof of the existence of extremist messages, supposedly hidden in the track’s lyrics, "Ready" was on its way to becoming the opposition’s unofficial anthem.

The single comes with several remixes and a new deliciously outrageous music video (caution: adult content), which has already been banned from youtube and all other video hosting websites for being way too hot. BARTO, you’ve been bad…

Soon after Karenin's "Non-Stop" hit radio stations, the band’s fourth album is available here on Kroogi. The record features the solid vocals of the lead singer, Xenia, as well as several instrumental compositions.
